Discuss: Dream Live-Action Anime
If you get the chance, watch Pacific Rim. The trailers were awful but it's by the guy who directed Pan's Labyrinth and it's the closest thing to live-action Neon Genesis Evangelion you might ever see. It's great, mindless fun with extraordinary special effects. It also got me wondering: what other anime would translate well to a live-action blockbuster (assuming a great director and cast)?
