Akira's Otomo Gives Peace A Chance
Katsuhiro Otomo, the man behind Akira and Steamboy, returns with a series of four new short films, compiled into his newest feature Short Peace. Joining him are Koji Morimoto (The Animatrix), Katsuhito Ishii (Redline), and Yoshiyuki Sadamoto (Neon Genesis Evangelion, Summer Wars).
We Have Come To The End Of The Tail
Fairy Tail, one of the most popular shonen anime of all time, will come to an end on March 30th. At 175 episodes it ranks as one of the longest running anime of all time and is considered by many as a worthy alternative to the Big Three, namely Naruto, Bleach, and One Piece. Link

VIZ Media Takes Us Back to the Neighborhood
VIZ Media has announced a re-release of the novelization of Hayao Miyazaki's My Neighbor Totoro in honor of the film's 25th anniversary. The novel, originally released at the time of the film, is written by children's author Tsugiko Kubo and includes watercolor illustrations by Miyazaki himself. Link
Hatsune Miku at the Sapporo Snow Festival, Part 3
The Sapporo Snow Festival has come to an official close in a fantastic fashion. This year marks the first time that the 39's Live Party concert, an annual concert celebrating the Vocaloid franchise, occurred in the winter season. The concert was attended by festival goers and Miku lovers alike. Following the concert, Crypton Media CEO Hiroyuki Itoh was interviewed and made a big announcement regarding future Vocaloid concerts.
