The First Lady of Denim
For her classy/pioneering style in jeans, Japan's First Lady Miyuki Hatoyama has won the "Best Jeanist Award" given out by the Japan Jeans Association. As the ambassador of jeans, she hopes to introduce some denim into the casual wear of her husband, Prime Minister Yukio Hatoyama. The awards are given out annually to promote denim products in Japan.
