I understand that much, but I fail to see why VII is so great. It's storyline isn't that impressive and easy to guess at even if you've never played it before, the characters aren't easy to believe and 2-D, not to mention it seems over-the-top in execution. And to make it worse, the game has become nothing more that something to be idealized and copied and has made nearly all RPGs follow the same formula.
Final Fantasy VI was part of the "Final Fantasy Anthology" that came out for PSX way back before the PS2 even existed. It gets plenty love - just not on PSN just yet. Keep in mind, though, the first FInal Fantasy is only just now coming out on PSN, but only in Japan. There's plenty of love people still want.
Also, the FFIV thingy came out for DS just the other month ago.
Beyond that stuff . . .
. . . the fact that you can purchase it, download it, and put it on a PSP makes for a very, very useful method for people. This is the sort of thing that would be pretty much perfect in handheld form.

Dude, where are they getting 9.99 from? Every place I go for it's always about 15, and if you get it offa ebay (where it might be 9.99 you still have to pay shipping!)

As I don't have a PS3 or a PSP, I'll stick with my lovely original version. That is awesome though.
