Because there aren't enough things (eg. highly reflective surfaces angled upwards) to completely wreck a girl's confidence for the day. -.-
The sad thing is I'd still be tempted to buy it.
Many of the girls in Japan will buy it, sadly. The four weeks I spent there last October let me see how concerned the women are with being viewed as acceptable to the men around them. It sounds preposterous and chauvinistic to us, but they won't see it that way.
And they're all so adorable, I don't think any of them would get a negative result, especially if the company had sales revenues in mind and rigged the devices to be flattering. Who knows, it might be quite successful there. *shrug*
Miss Anonymous: ARE YOU CALLING THE PLIGHT OF PIZZA EVERYWHERE STUPID?!?!? >:O
This idea epic fails. >_< Why? I'll sum it up like this:
-First of all, only 1000 guys were interviewed for this "survey." hmm...how many people live in Japan again? TT_TT
-Second, we already have a problem of "bimbification" (forgive me for my spelling) here in the US. What are the odds of this same issue happening overseas? TT_TT
-Aaaaand finially, this is a prime example of how some capitalists make their fortunes by preying on those who have given in to despair. -_-... (Somehow, I can't help but feel that this "idea" will certainly do that for them in ways even they couldn't imagine...)
On a more positive note, I'd predict that I'd fail that little "attractive test" of their's. And you know what? I'm proud of it! Huzzah!!! XD
So if the game proves some women to be highly attractive then it's an ego booster. If they are found to be unattractive, then what? They'll never marry?
¬_¬ I'm entirely horrified...I don't even know what to say! Well ...this is stupid. I feel sorry for the girls that buy the thing (and whoever made it needs to be slapped...several times! ^_^; ).
Everyone has different tastes, so it's a pretty useless device. A shame to think that there are girls out there that will try this thing and probably think it's for real...
lol. This is silly. Theres so much more to being attractive than a survey can tell. Character, values, goals, personality, chemistry, and culural preferences to name a few.
Wow, how unbelievably, piggishly chauvanistic of them. As if jerky guys can't form their own opinions, now there'll be a machine to do it for them. Bandai, you bunch of morons.

This is a very terrible idea. Women already have unrealistic ideals to live up to. Now this? It's terrible.
If there's nothing wrong with me, then there must be something wrong with the universe!
