I think Focus is the best. It's clean and simple. Classic is always good, but a little too cluttered. Accordion was just cluttered and distracting.

I like Focus the most. Seems the cleanest, and there are no distractions. Accordion looked too busy. Classic is just ok.
I like the focus design the best. Classic is eh..and accordion made me dizzy.
I like the accordion one. It looks cool!
Many will probably disagree, but I like classic best. Don't know why, it just looks cool.

Accordion is efficient-- lets one see how many questions there are so if the computer gets stuck, you know that parts are missing.

I like accordion best I think. It lets you see upcoming questions, and looks pretty good for a rough draft!
Otaku Eternal | Posted 02/11/14 | Reply
I like the accordion because it looks better. The action of it makes it look more updated than the current one. But the only thing that would make me hesitant would be if it increased the load time for people's computers with slow networks or older computers.
The classic is a classic.
The focus is ew. My first thought was "Wow did he use powerpoint?"
You know that someone truly cares when they brick you like that. -AZ

I think that it is more appealing to the eye if all the questions and choices are visible and you can check again some of your answers and even correct them quickly when taking a quiz with the classic layout.

Focus is the best, I think, because true to its name it focuses on a single question, making you think more about that question and choosing your answer carefully. My mind won't bump into overdrive and peek at the next question.

I found focus and classic to be very organized, easy to read, and an overall enjoyable format to take a quiz as! Accordion was very distracting and could get annoying if there were many questions to be answered.

Focus is great because it lets you ~ FOCUS ! and it also keeps a little suspense (which is good for those people who start looking at the other questions before the first :).. Suspense here is paramount, because these quizzes don't have points or stuff that actually would count as much as real life grades :P..
I just don't get what Accordion is supposed to do... it's a flawed design, in my opinion.
OTHER than that, I really think you should change the boring font. In fact, that's really important to the whole site I think ! Its time theO got a font change

classic was the best option because its most simple and easy to use. Accordion was the worst option. Though, you other options wont appear unless you answer first one but the way in which all questions appear like list was pretty terrible. BTW Dictionary.com's word dynamo have great quiz layout.

I like focus because it has the most fluid transition of the two. It also prevents any selection errors you might get from using arrow keys to navigate the page. I put Classic in the middle because I found Accordion to be pretty terrible.

I made Focus because first it's easier to pay attention to the questions.
Where as if I choose Classic, I might sometimes not pay attention to some questions while I scroll down so I skip them by mistake.
And Accordion well,

For me its hard to choose between focus and accordion for my number one. I think if I had to choose it would be focus first because I love how it looks. I think it's nicer to have one question at a time rather than all at once. Not that classic is bad, but it can be overwhelming depending on how man questions are in the quiz.
However, I like accordion because shows everything, not in an overwhelming way. You know what to expect without having to scroll much. So if I had to rate them...
and third) Classic

like a BOSS.
1) classic: one knows both the response options and questions at the same time
2 Accordion: One sees all the questions, but doesn't get to choose which question to answer first.
3) Focus: one can't know all the intended questions until the first one's answered first.

The Focus is nice. I like it because it feels more organized. I also like how the layout feels. Accordion was the most interesting out of all the three but it feels a little too sloppy. It also somehow confused me a little bit. But I do like how it automatically scrolls down to the next question for me.

1. Accordion- I like being able to see the upcoming questions and the answers I've put behind me (so I can review before I submit)
2. Focus- (like this one second best because it does focus the questions....)

#1: Accordion - I like the new style. I don't have to scroll to the next question, it comes to me! Plus it's easy to scroll back up if I need to change one of my answers, and I can see what questions are coming up.
#2: Classic - It only comes second to the Accordion because you have to scroll to get to the next questions. But I'd be perfectly happy with this one too!
#3: Focus - This one makes it more difficult to go back and change answers if I need to.
I look forward to seeing the quiz page make a come back! :)

My rankings are:
1. Accordion- because it is a good visual reminder of the questions you choose, plus it can be fun to look at.
2. Classic- Since I take a lot of quizzes on here, and if I don't see a difference from the norm, I'm probably going to gravitate towards that.
3. Focus- It reminds me of school, XD, plus it would take a lot more time to load/reload for people with bad internet connections, and it would take longer to fill out

I rate them in the following order...
1. Accordion: I rate this one first because its a different way to format quizzes. It is a new and fresh way to do it. Plus it takes the error out of missing questions in a quiz.
2. Classic: This rates #2 because I'm used to this format and it works.
3: Focus: This one rates #3 for me because I've seen this format used on too many quiz sites and it is a frustrating format for me.
I'm always looking for something new and I believe the accordion format is the way to go. This is just based on my personal views. Hope this is ok.

Focus is better for when there are long questions/answers, that way the page isn't crowded, same for Accordion. The only problem I have with Accordion is that it can be confusing. I ranked Classic last because, well, even though it works everytime, it's not original and scrolling down forever for some quizzes can be annoying.

Note, though, that the hr line at the bottom of the question block seems to jump when switching between selections.

1. Focus - interactive, seems like fun, can harbor much potential... The downfall with this if someone were to miss/skip a question then they'll have to sift through pages and most might not like doing that.
2. Accordion - different, interactive, seems like fun... I feel with some tweaking it might be a really cool design for quizzes. Another cool potential. The major downfall is that it might not be responsive for everyone and not to sure on the text style.
3. Classic - it's okay and fairly easy to use out of the three, it's just can be cluttering especially if a quiz were to have long questions & answers. Maybe if there were a certain layout design to it then maybe it can be organize, but between the three I feel it's the less interactive one.
Then again I'm a person that like surprises and spontaneous-ness. Also I feel with quizzes they are meant to be fun and chilled so with that said I feel a design that is more interactive can be fun to go through and kind of give more room for creativity, but that's just me. :)

2 - Classic (simple to use, but not as neat)
3 - Accordion (not nice to use-it's confusing)
The Wickedly Evil (Otaku Eternal) | Posted 02/02/14 | Reply
Having one question at a time makes it easy to concentrate and not get scared off by the huge mass of text/questions(which is usually the case in classic). Also it looks neat, organized and just cool xD.
2. Classic (its almost a draw with focus)
I like the fact you can attempt other questions if your confused about earlier ones, and once your done with the later you can attempt the previous ones you got stuck at. Also You can easily change answers while in Focus you have to click back until you reach the question in mind you want to change. Also you cannot progress to the next question until the previous is done(in focus I mean) while in classic you can.
Just right down confusing. Lol Sorry for putting it that way but in all honesty, It looks cool at first but it is confusing. Though like classic it gives you easy ability to change answers and I like the fact you can see the next questions but not the options.
In all I think with a lil tweaking Focus would be the best option. Like the question numbers could be mentioned at the top (or side of the page) and you could click the number of your choice(say you wanna redo the first or 3rd) and go back or forward to change or to answer a previous question. Also it can be you can move on to the next without attempting an earlier question but its number turns red, so you remember you have left it unanswered.

I didn't like neither Accordion nor Focus. Classic is just more comfortable, plus Quizilla use the classical way as well and it's my favorite quiz site!
Otaku Eternal | Posted 02/01/14 | Reply
1 - Focus
2 - Classic
3 - Accordion
Accordion is too distracting and confusing. It makes me want to click on the other questions.
Also with focus it's easier to not miss questions. I often have a problem that I forget to answer some question so I have to scroll all the way back to the top and search for what I missed. It's a slight inconvenience which disappears with 'focus'
Senior Otaku+ | Posted 02/01/14 | Reply

Compared to the two new options, Classic is just too boring. Focus is very comparable to other sites I've taken quizzes on, whereas Accordion is a fresh and new idea.

Focus, Classic, Accordion
It is clean and set up so all you see is one question at a time. In my mind the organization of this format is most favorable.
Also pretty organized, but with so many words it can be a little overwhelming at times.
This seems really messy and a little bit confusing.

1. Classic because it's a nice format and aesthetically pleasing (and yea, it's easier to go back and change your answers just by scrolling).
2. Focus because, well, getting surprises on the next question is always interesting (but would there be a back function in case you flub a question and want to change it?)
3. Accordion has a bad layout all around, though it might look better if the sample questions also had sample answers and to see what it would look like from there but it's not aesthetically pleasing (and the font's too big)

Accordion, classic, focus.
Accordion is fun and different from most quizzes I've seen. And being able to change previous answers without having to go back a page, to me, is really important, which is why I chose classic over focus.
I personally like Focus over classic but I don't like accordion at all
The Zanrai Kid (Otaku Eternal) | Posted 02/01/14 | Reply
I prefer the Classic, because it has all your information present at one time. It makes for a easy time if you want to change anything.
The Focus is equally as good, because there is a natural progression to the quiz. However, not all the information is present.
As for the Accordion, I don't know how to put this, but my computer just wouldn't allow me to progress beyond the first question. Fix this if you want, but I'd rather not utilize this quiz format.

Like some have said previously, it's nice to see all the questions altogether...and it kind of takes less loading ^^ I like how the accordion layout is, so that design comes as a close second.
Hope that helps! :)

I like Classic the best because I like to see all the questions at once, and it’s much easier to go back to an earlier question to change an answer if you need to (If you’re as indecisive as I am, this is important XD). Also if you want to skip a question and come back to it later, something like the Focus design could be a pain, forcing you to hit “Back” any number of times to find it again. The Accordion design is also inconvenient for skipping questions, since you have to pick an answer (or just click near it, apparently?) to advance to the next one, but it still has the advantage of easy reviewing once you’ve opened them all.
Otakuite+ | Posted 02/01/14 | Reply
Focus was easy to use, and required less scrolling, which can be useful when using a laptop or the like.Classic is easy to use as well, but can be slightly more difficult.Accordion was more difficult, and I accidentally made it scroll without meaning to 3 times before finally getting the hang of it.

I may be weird cause I really like the Accordion version. BUUUT Classic is still #1. So:
I guess it's cause I like to see what I'm getting into first lol...instead of being surprised with all the questions, haha!
Otakuite | Posted 02/01/14 | Reply
I think that both the focus and classic are decent enough; although, with the classic there are times when people may forget to answer one of the questions. With the focus, people are focused onto one specific question and have to answer it. The accordion one, however, was one that I found very unappealing.
I like the focus layout; it helps ensure nothing gets forgotten or unanswered. The classic option is simple and sweet, but aesthetically Accordion isn't pleasing.

I think all 3 designs are great, but I'd have to rank them as:
1st Place: - Classic
2nd Place: - Focus
3rd Place: - Accordion
I chose Classic as 1st place because I like seeing the questions displayed all on one page, and I sometimes skip a question that I need more time to think on and go back to it once I have an answer. However, I do also like Focus, as it seemed to feel organized and very "quiz like", if you will.
Accordion was in an interesting format that I've never seen before in quizzes, and while having the questions displayed on one page, the pop-out answers just didn't seem to cut it. Sometimes, I like to take a glace at the answers before answering the questions and go from there. And as sweetdevil had mentioned, it did seem very disorganized and I also didn't like it taking up the entire page.
On a relevant note, the Focus format seemed almost similar to Quotev's quiz layout, except that allows you to put a picture next to the question, instead of having it blank, like how the Focus version seems, and once the question is answered, it automatically moves on to the next one for you, instead of having to click a "next question" button, and it also allows you to go back to a question if you need to as well.
If TheO isn't wanting to stay with the Classic format (which is my vote), then I think that Focus would be the next best choice.
I like it best because I think it looks nicer and it keeps you from being distracted by the other questions. However some people might prefer to be able to see all of the questions at once.
It is the simplest and easiest to use and, as I said before, some people would prefer to see all of the questions. I usually prefer not knowing what the next question is, however.
I think it looks the worst and I don't like the auto scrolling.
Is able to help one focus on each individual question. It might also discourage continuous roleplay questions *which I hate*
It's what most websites do, and while that makes it in the comfortable range, it also doesn't make us stand out from any other website.
It feels jarring, and feels like it's trying much to hard to be "Modern" by making it complicated. Keep the simplicity.

If it does change, the second best is Focus. Accordion seems too disorganized.
