I gave the movie Summer Wars to a friend, though not the one that loves anime. To her, I gave hair accessories, Pocky and an Adventure Time t-shirt (she said I was a beautiful person after receiving the shirt). I was really in the giving mood this year as this was the first year I had a job and could take from an ATM AND could drive to the mall.
As for presents received, no anime fandom and there wasn't really a standout gift. No complaints, though. My family likes a very low key Christmas. More about celebrating Jesus and less commercialism. You can blame my upbringing for my general cynicism towards all thing buying (especially Black Friday. The whole concept's ludicrous) and woefully apparent political incorrectness. Though this Aeropostale hoodie I got is really comfortable. Wearing it right now :D
However, I'll be sure to mention a new Miyazaki DVD for my birthday in January.

Well as far as anime realated gifts I got one of the Naruto shippuden movies! I also got an awesome pen set, makeup, a shirt, lots of candy, a necklace, a shovel and some money Of yeah and a buch of half dollar coins!
I received Menma (from AnoHana) cosplay, complete with wig, a pink wig for my Fluttershy cosplay this year, and a 5 Centimeters Per Second DVD. It really was a great Christmas:D

Didn't get any anime since I hate it and I'd probably headbutt anyone who bought it me. However, I did get some other awesome stuff. A box of 4 5ocl wine glasses, a glass teapot, an extremely old book written and signed (In the 1920's!) by the Phrenologist Joseph M Severn, a plush Companion Cube, a scarab shaped pocket watch and a bunch of bath products.
My Otaku gift was the DVD of the Disappearance of Haruhi Suzumiya. Also got Paramore's album, Riot, and a ticket to Roger Waters concert performing The Wall this June!
Well, my art got used for this post, so that's pretty awesome.
As for actual stuff...Doctor Who was my fandom this year. Series 6 boxset, the 2012 calendar, the Brilliant Book (again for 2012), and a disappearing TARDIS coffee mug. I also scored some swanky art supplies, Skyrim, and even more coffee.
