In a new trend of dating games that require physical interaction, Konami's recent Japan-only DS game, Love Plus, defines creepy all over again. Not only does the game require virtual liplocking, it also requires the player to sometimes whisper sweet nothings into the microphone, like saying "I love you" exactly 100 times. We make such a good use of technology.
Boys Don't Cry, And Presidents Don't Bow... Apparently... ~SomeGuy78

So US President Barack Obama was in Japan a few days ago doing presidential stuff and meeting people. And he bowed to the Japanese emperor when he met him. And, that has apparently pissed off a bunch of political pundits in America, feeling the American President should bow down to no one, let along a king or emperor! Simple gesture respecting another's culture, or showing the obvious weakness of the country under the current administration? I'm gonna lean towards the former, anyway...

Nelly Furtado, Pixie Lott, and Fefe Dobson are just a few... and it's all quite hilarious and amazing all at once.

PETA is at it again with another "affectionate" Mario parody. New Super Chick Sisters, a sequel to the 2007 original, is much the same as the original, but this time drops its anvil of a message about the "evils" of McDonald's rather than KFC.

Prince of Persia movie producer Jerry Bruckheimer and original 1980s Prince of Persia game creator Jordan Mechner have an interview with website Latino Review. They talk about, among other things, Jake Gyllenhaal's awesomeness, a ten year old parkour expert, and - most interestingly - how test audiences have been over the moon about this apparently good video game movie. Well, at least the system cares. According to reports, "soothing blue lights" have been installed along the Yamanote subway line in Tokyo with the hopes of calming people intent on harming themselves by jumping on the tracks. There's no proven science behind the idea, but it's the thought that counts, right?
Patent Spies Spy Sony Satellite... Of Love? ~SomeGuy12

I can imagine a few people who might enjoy this one... SCEA has recently filed a patent for a program/application that would allow PS3 users to... yeah, I'll just say it bluntly... to turn movies into MST3K recreations with avatar-overlays. Aside from watching and riffing, the patent also suggests games like throwing tomatoes at actors, shooting spiders, and other insanity. It'll be most interesting if they can fully develop this presently-only-a-patent idea...
