Meanwhile, Adam continued to sit in traffic. He was a few blocks away from his apartment, and traffic had gotten really bad all of a sudden. Rain began to pour from the sky, pelting his windshield.
Someone probably got into a wreak, Adam thought.

Squee-Neji: We’ve been waiting for over twenty minutes!
SunfallE: I’m terribly sorry for making you wait. He’s probably stuck in traffic.
UtadaHikaru: It’s fine; I’m having a good time talking to you all. :-)

Finally, after 10 more minutes of sitting in traffic, Adam arrived at his apartment. He jumped out of the car and dashed up the stairs. Once he got on the last step, his foot slipped again. He slapped his hand around the arm rail and regained his balance. After catching his breath, he opened his door and made his way to his computer.

Allamorph: Maybe you should call again James.
SomeGuy:Good idea, it's been a while.

So for the next 2 hours, Adam got to talk with Utada Hikaru through the chat. He completely forgot how terrible the rest of the day had been. Adam’s terrible birthday had been turned into a perfect birthday.
