14. The game always happens just in time. No matter which game it is, you will always begin playing just before the war begins or the comet hits or the prophecy is fulfilled. And yet you can stop off on as many side quests as you want; that doesn’t affect time at all.
That's because of the constraints in video game making. First of all, no one wants to play a game with an intro of about 2 hours before the main plot/interesting plot starts (because as much as anyone wants to deny it, regular life without war/comets/prophecies is really boring). Secondly, games progress because of invisible "switches", and to flip these switches you have to have seen the events that flip them. So if you're off on some quest, and don't see the events that flip the switches yet, than time can't really progress. I think it might be possible to make a game engine that does rely on time, but that wouldn't be so good for the people who want to play the game at a slower pace or who are just bad at video games. Lol.

I've never managed to get all the celestial weapons ): I hate trying to get Wakka's
But I'm trying really hard on my new game on FFXII to do everything, so hopefully I'll get the best I can :D
eh. i like having a lot of stock. Because i like never go buy stuff. =/ So when i do go to a shop, i sell things then i buy 90 of everything... it makes my life a bit easier. Plus im always looking for boxes and free stuff!! ^^
