hah, yes, there is a story behind this comic and it was just begging to be done.

Angelo came over the other day and discovered my old pokemon yellow game from, like, TEN years ago. He decided to dig for ye olde gameboy pocket and actually got it working! XD

He named the characters thus:
Main player: Sasuke
Rival: Itachi
First pokemon's nickname: UberPwn

It really made us laugh, so this is how this comic was born
