Aiko Higashi is an optimistic, shy girl who is the target of her school bullies. Apparently her pigtails aren't "allowed" in the rich and high status, Rose Academy, a school for geniuses. Hideki Mizuno, the most popular but however nefariously hot student in Rose Academy is its leader. One day while her usual savior Miyamu Hagino (also her closest friend) goes out late, Aiko gets surrounded by Hideki's lackies and threatens to cut her pigtails for fun. Out of nowhere Hideki comes and saves her. A year later Aiko comes back as a fully confident, and brave girl while Hideki Mizuno comes back as a changed man. One day due to financial problems Aiko had to move in with her mom's close and personal friend while Aiko's parents had to go to London and for their transfered jobs. Unfortunately she stayed under the same roof as Hideki Mizuno...
