I love black mages, but this is a recurring problem that needs to be addressed. Whenever there is a spellcaster in your party, the opposing team will NUKE THE SHIT out of him before you can get anything done. Nevermind you have a super powered tank, oh no, you must nuke the mage. Argh. Tactics can be really frustrating.
