"DEXTER" is one of my favourite shows EVAR. Great dialogue, great plots, amazing ideas (incredible music)... It's pretty awesome. However, the books and the show are a little different. Scratch that... Entirely different. They're two completely different things! And frankly, I MUCH prefer Dexter in the show, than in the books. And here's why... You gotta love Dexter... A psychopathic, homicidal serial killer who only targets other killers... What's not to like? However, I was very dissapointed to read in the books, that Dexter is not very fond of blood. In fact, he hates it. Very much so. It's so "messy," and "unclassy," according to him. I laughed when I read that, 'cause I thought "Valterra would be so angry." What kind of serial killer does not have an affinity for blood...? Dexter, apparently. So I just had to draw this... Valterra giving Dex a piece of her vampiric mind. And with good reason... Really now, how can someone who loves killing so very, very much... Dislike one of the biggest things that goes along with it...? Seriously, I love Dexter, though. ^_^
