There is no real reason why only the first two panels are shaded. Oh, Wai! Yes there is....sheer laziness.

The next few pages will be better. I think.

Also..after this chapter...it starts to become a parody of some sort..like breaking the fourth wall. Why? Because I like having characters go OOC fora bit.
