Background: Khalil comes from a world where people have been genetically altered to see in monochrome. He was raised in a well-to-do family and pressured, especially by his mother, to excel. But when it was discovered that he could see color, his mother and brother began to abuse him, and his father, fearing for his safety, sent him to a government institution for treatment.

Personality: emotionally closed-off, reserved, polite helpful, people-pleaser, secretly stubborn
Likes: Water, the sky, listening to music, quiet places, fine dining, drinking tea/hot chocolate, studying and reading
Dislikes: Being touched (not counting casual handshakes and the like, this is one of the few things that may actually cause him to lose his cool), sub-par food, letting people see him vulnerable, crowds

Special abilities or items: can see (a) color, musically talented (plays violin)
