Why was the above information important? Because I've been apart of this site for 12 years. During the 12 years I've been apart of theOtaku.com I have made many friends, improved upon my drawings and graphics, and shared many pieces. I think back fondly on the goodtimes I've had here from submitting and uploading artworks, talking with friends, roleplaying, participating in art challenges, etc. I miss the good old days and fun we used to have as a community here. I still hope that this site once again can be like that someday

I am forever thankful to have been apart of this site. This place gave me my first exposure for sharing my work which I am forever thankful for. I'm also thankful for the many awesome people and friends I've made here.

Also to those of you who are still here that support my work, thank you, it means the world to me.

This drawing is to commemorate my 12th Otakuversary. This piece features a few of my favorite anime characters including Blue Maiden/Aoi Zaizen, Ryou Bakura and Yami Bakura, Fluttershy, and Asuna. The reason I included a chibified Asuna is because I've been binge watching Sword Art ONline, it's a good series and I like it and Asuna so far is my favorite character.

I honestly had so many ideas on what this final drawing was going look like. It turned out like none of them and that's fine. The drawing I drew to this one prior, I messed up so I scrapped that and started over and that eventually evolved into the piece you see before you. Many hours and lots of songs later, this drawing was then completed.

Other Notes: Blue Maiden is amazing, that is why she is the main focus of this drawing. I deviated slightly from her original cannon design in terms of a few colors and added a few minor details. I took some inspiration from her prior VRains avatar Blue Girl and added some arm sleeves coming out from her glovelet things, also more blues have been incorporated, as well as a slight change to her choker. To me, it made more sense to have the aqua drop coming down like a pendant. Overall, I'm happy with how she turned out.

Ryou Bakura is also featured because to me he is one of my best boys. Also Yami Bakura because he's epic. Fluttershy is a sweet kind pony so that's why she ended up in this piece, also enjoyed drawing the little butterfly resting on her nose. Finally a chibified Asuna Yuki is also featured because I'm currently kind of/sort of obsessed with Sword Art Online. I realize her colors aren't like her original design but I figured since she's kind of a chibi, I could get away with it. Also my first time drawing her, might draw her more in the future.

That being said, I hope everyone enjoys this milestone piece. I may remake this later but for now, I'm happy with this one.
