This was supposed to be for Kita's Eternal Rain Challenge which ended months ago. Unfortunately, I had a little thing called surgery which got in the way of my completing this picture. The drawing has been finished for some time, but I figured that this is as good a time as ever to post it.

Once I read Kita's story (the part she allowed the public to read, anyway), I realized that I had taken a great liking to Toki, the main character. It's not always easy to make your main character a fan favorite, as opposed to supporting characters. So, drawing Toki was a no-brainer.

I must have gone through a million pictures on Google before I found a good one of a girl using a naginata. I think I did a good job with the pose, although the hands were HARD. The coloring didn't turn out too bad, either.

Now, a message for Kita: Congratulations on keeping up with Eternal Rain for so long. Should you ever decide to publish it, I want a copy!

Toki and Eternal Rain belong to Kita Mikichi (the user, not the user's character of the same name). Since this is a fan art of one of her characters, I'm blocking this from use, unless I get Kita's permission.
