To be honest I have done of soul searching for that "me inside of me" so to speak. I tend to be a quiet reserved person, with a fire that still burns despite everything I've been through. I am determined to be the best person I can be.

When it comes to terms of my “fantasy self” I always imagined myself as some kind of magician, swordswoman, or archer. I wouldn’t be the type to fight head on. I would stick to the background and wait to an opportunity to strike. The cloak represents my inner self, which is something I do my best to keep hidden from most people unless I get to know them. Like I mentioned above, I’ve been through a lot of trauma in my life and I’m doing my best to fight back and keep living despite the odds.

My “gaming style” when I play video games tended to be fight with lots of special abilities and magic. In Kingdom Hearts for example I used a lot of different special abilities like Ars Arcanum and Sonic Blade because they helped me defeat a bunch of different enemies at once. So I would probably classify myself as a paladin because I would fight a lot with magic and special abilities.

In the game world my element would be fire and light to which I would use to manipulate into different attacks. Like Weiss in the RWBY I would be able to use special blue fire to dart and fly around the field, striking many enemies at once with either my sword of my bow and arrows. The bow and arrows are created with magic, often with a blue/greenish flame burning on the arrow. When almost on the edge of defeat, my eyes would turn a bright blazing green and blue, and my limit break would activate, showing that I won’t give up that easily and I will always find a way to win or at least stand strong.

I would also help keep my party of fellow Otakus going by healing them when they needed it. Also I would have the ability to supercharge others attacks at times as well.

The clothes were heavily inspired by Yu-Gi-Oh (especially the cape). Her cloak is a sapphire blue, with a white jacket, and a red and blue belt around her waist. It took me some time to come up with this design as a whole because I wanted it to truly reflect how I was as a person and how I would be like in a game.

The drawing itself took me awhile to create, mainly because I wanted a good design to start from. So I first took the time to come up with the design and make a small concept sketch so I had a reference for my design. I ended up using a couple of reference poses for the sword and archer pose. The most challenging was definitely the archery pose because it was so involved and I wanted it to look as good as I could get it.

First I sketched this all out with pencil, traced with pen, and colored with Crayola colored pencils. I also did a close up of her eyes when they changed colors during her limit break and when she would use her most powerful magic. I had fun drawing her in front of a moon in the archery pose. I was mostly inspired by the RWBY trailers and how they all jumped up in front of the moon or light and did their most powerful attack.
Mostly I was inspired by Weiss’s white trailer for the magic and whatnot.
All together this took me about 1 day and 5 hours to complete. All and all I’m happy with the outcome.
