Scene from Autumn

'Merciful darkness began to cloud the corners of Kagome's vision, her consciousness slipping as the magnitude of her situation began to dawn on her. "Please...just let me go..." Kagome lamented, her tearing eyes gazing into his as she began to lose focus.

"When I am finished with you, I may let you go." Sesshomaru's voice was cool however his eyes burned with his passions. Molten gold stared into fluttering blue eyes before he scooped her up and over his shoulder. Darkness enveloped Kagome and she knew not what she would awaken too, if, she awoke at all. The last thing she saw, were the Autumn leaves, waving to her as if to say farewell.'
