Time for another anime-themed celebration cake from cougarsama! If I'm a fashion designer in one alternate universe, in another I must be a pastry chef. This time we have a four-tiered cake based on the world of Durarara. The armature is a traffic sign with the series logo; the top layer is based on Celty: an Irish cream-flavored cake with black fondant and a toy motorcycle (rather questionably drawn, but you get the idea.) The second layer is for Simon and is his hat, with fondant sushi pieces. I only drew a few, but there could be a lot more. The flavor for it would be Black Russian, which has vodka and coffee. Yeah, these top layers are not necessarily for everyone's palate, which is why they are separate from the others. Or just have them be other flavors; I just thought having flavors particularly representative of the characters is a fun idea. The bottom layers I didn't assign a flavor to. One is the Raira student uniform with it's blue blazer and red tie for Mikado; on it is a chocolate-piped pair of glasses for Anri. Or there could be other items. The bottom tier is the city skyline with fondant cutouts for the buildings and telephone poles and chocolate-piped wires. For decorations, I've included a fondant van like Kadota and his crew travel around (and seem to live) in and a fondant vending machine, which will not likely injure someone if you throw it at them but will at least leave a nasty red stain on their nice clothes. The napkins are blue and yellow for the color gangs.
