Because I totally believe that if Mako and Korra were dating, Mako would be the shy one in the relationship.... and Korra will be the one who starts it all. Telling him that they belong together, initiating the first kiss, etcetera, etcetera.

I was a bit iffy when people started shipping this couple before anyone knew anything about them... but now, after I've seen the first two episodes and that trailer where they kiss....
