Inspired by TheO's recent post about art improvement, I decided to draw Captain again after I don't know how long - just to see how I've improved.

Compared to my first drawing of him, the change is astounding. Looking at the two pieces side-by-side, it was as clear as night and day. Proportions, definition, personality... I can only attribute all this improvement to the amazing artists of TheOtaku. I consider all of you my teachers, and with each new piece I see on here, I learn something about art (either what to do or what not to do xD). Once again, I find myself saying this website is a blessing. Thank you all for the inspiration and skills you give me!

...And I'll be coloring this picture at a later date, too, so look forward to that!

EDIT: Just noticed that my original drawing of Captain was posted on April 7th: 6 months ago to the day! What a coincidence. oO
