I watched Kiki's Delivery Service again yesterday after watching it for the first time last week^^ Its such a cute Ghibli film (lol like all of them)!!

I sketched Kiki+Jiji in pencil while watching the film and had enough time to colour her with Copics as it ended. I like the sketch better although I did have trouble deciding a pose. Its the first time I've used a film instead of a picture/scan for reference and it was fun!
Seeing I'll be borrowing lots of the Ghibli films this summer, I think I shall draw a character or two while watching each movie.

This is dedicated to Fyki-kun, a big Studio Ghibli and Kiki fan too, who inspired me to do this project!
Next film up is the Grave of the Fireflies and My Neighbor Totoro... I'll be getting them at the library tomorrow. Never seen either yet so I hope I can watch and draw at the same time! xD
