What you're seeing in this ecard is Terry McGinnis, the Batman II of the Post-Infinite Crisis Earth-12 from Mainstream DC Universe continuity. He was brought into mainstream DC Continuity by Countdown to Final Crisis No. 21 (Cover date: Dec. 2007), although the first canon use of the Batman Beyond batsuit design was for Superman/Batman No. 22 (Cover date: Oct. 2005), and like super-villainess Harley Quinn, Terry McGinnis was created for the DC Animated Universe lore (which includes Batman: the Animated Series and the Batman Beyond T.V. series). However, mainstream DC Universe continuity has it that two alternate universes each posseses a different version of Terry's history; while Earth-12's history describes him as being Batman II, Batman (Vol. 1) No. 700 (cover date: Aug. 2010) featured a possible future for New Earth where the surpehero himself is Batman VI, succeeding Damian Wayne.
