I would liked to have named this one FINALLY, because it's literally taken me since Chirstmas to post it on this site. This, believe it or not, is the third coloring I've done for this pic. It just never seemed quite right and then was left to the dark recesses of my clipboard for a few months.
But here it is, and I'm proud of the way it came out the third time :). For not using colored pencils for a while, it went very well.
I chose animals I love and tried to vary it: a barred owl (fowl), brown bat (mammal), jackson's chameleon (reptile), beta fish (fish, whoduvthunk), and some ladybugs and a butterfly for the insect group. Meh! So cute! :).
