An example of what a cat knight and fighter look like in my book. I was supposed to just make them examples, but I ended up making them actual minor characters instead.

The one on the left is one of the royal knights. I havent come up with a name for him yet, but his character is one who serves the Queen, and he's often bored and solemn with his job, so he's always looking for a bit of action wherever it may be.He's a tan abyssian breed cat. He'll appear in the second book sometime.

The one on the right is a fighter cat. He's Kita's older brother, who in the story, was only mentioned once by Kita. I tried to make him look almost identical to her, even though their a few years in part. I dont have a name thought up for him yet either, and again, he too will appear in the second book as an antagonist. His story, he also serves the queen, leader of the fighter faction of the queen's forces. He gave up his leadership some time ago, when his sister Kita was good enough to join, and let her lead instead. Of course, If youve read my story, you'll know that Kita was killed. So this guy retains his leadership in the fighting faction. However, he's not too pleased, seeming as to how the wolves killed his sister; oh yes, and did I mention yet that he's a bit on the wild crazy size? now would be a good time to put that in; and so he goes on a bit of a rant to destroy the wolves. Also, he's Kita's older brother, but I dont know how much older Im going to make him and he, like Kita, is an orange mackeral tabby cat.

By the way, just a little fun fact to throw out here. Did you know that Kita's brother originally started off sketched as a girl? YES INDEED. When I started sketching him in my notebook, he had a girls body, but had bascially the same pose. Then, when I was having issues with deciding how to design him, I went into my schedule and sketched out a good version of him, which I transferred onto my notebook. So yes, he is Kita's sister-I MEAN BROTHER! (how one change in a sketched can make a whole worlds difference, I say chaps!)

Now let me tell you a bit about the cat's royalty or defense system, or whatever Im trying to tell you about, because I cant quite think of the name. But anyways, theres the Queen, currently Kahlia. She has two armies (ARMIES YES! THAT IS THE WORD I WAS LOOKING FOR. THE CAT'S ARMY!), the knights, and the fighters. The knights stay in the city and protect it, while the fighters are at liberty to roam and set destruction to whatever they feel like (to put in short). Knights all wear the same uniform (by the way, I shouldve kept the knights pants blue, instead of turning them black, looked better that way. Oh well, we'll say that black is actually blue. Black is the new blue people! 2012 official fashion statement). They also have helmets, which this knight isnt wearing, but they do have them, and can wear them whever. The helmets all have the queen's royal symbol on the front, and the helmet is shaped like a V in the front, and covers the eyes and curves up to the ears behind the head, so that their ears stick out, and a bit of their hair too.

The knights either carry a sword and shield (though this knight [I REALLLY gotta think of a name for him quick, calling him "this knight" is getting...boring >.<] has a special katana) or a spear.

The fighters dont all wear the same uniform as you see Kita's brother wearing. The girls usually wear either short shorts or a skirt, with leggings and gloves or leather grieves. The guys basically wear the same thing. All the fighters though usually have different colored shirts, skirts, or shorts, the only things remaining brown being their gloves, pants, leather armor and whatnot. As you may or may not remember, Kita wore a blue set of clothing.

*says like Jackie Chans grandpa on that show Jackie Chan Adventures* OH, AND ONE MORE THING! The fighter is higher up on the page than the knight because my pencils erasers were being EVIL! They kept leaving dark grey uneraseable marks on the page, corrupting it, even tainting it! So in order to make the spot not so seeable, I placed fighter higher on the page, and VOILA! Like chemistry magic, it dissapears. ONE MORE THING! Fighters hair was much darker when I first colored it, almost red. I didnt like it, so I thought about erasing it. Luckily my eraser here at home is God, so it erased the previous more-red-than-orange orange from the drawing! (even ereased a little bit of my marker lines, which wasnt supposed to happen, but that just shows how godly it is). Then I went over the hair with my lighter orange, and FANTASTICO! No more redness.
