Hi there !

This is the first drawing wherein I used different shades of pencil - I used HB,2B,4B,6B,and 8B... although I'm sure I have a lot to learn to make better use of them..... I think they made it easier to get the variation in tone in this drawing.... It is from a wallpaper on the internet....

The character is the first of the six paths of Nagato pain - known as Deva path.

This particular picture shows him as a scary, threatening, angry Deva path. The drawing is from the anime where Pain is threatening Konoha's Hokage, Tsunade.

Now, a little bit of explanation regarding Pain's power (even if you already know !) - he can kill thousands of people in a flash, how? - well, with himself as the epicenter, he can destroy an entire village (or city if you like..)... and he is also part of a villainous gang called the Akatsuki... So, he was hated for a long time - until his death...

Before he dies, he revives many thousands of people (don't be surprised - his power is the control of life and death ), as a realization of his crime, and henceforth, he is regarded as a great man.... also, people realize that he killed those thousands of people only because his own nation was destroyed for no reason, that this was a revenge for his family and an entire poor nation....
So, in this way, people used to hate this character until his death - which is, formost of his life....

So, I decided to draw this, as I sympathize with his actions (of course, only because he brought back all those people, huh?..... I wouldn't have forgiven him if Kakashi died !)....

And, another drawing needs to be submitted to address this challenge properly (because only the two of them together can explain the unpopularity, and the reason for my liking of this character).. so, wait for the second picture folks... !
