This piece is based on a box I found while cleaning my grandfather's apartment after he had to moved to a home for the elderly. It made me very sad that he had to move because he really loved living there alone with his dog . The apartment was huge and very elegant. It was full of old, fancy furniture! So when he moved, since he couldn't take that many things to his new home they had to sell all the beautiful furniture... While we were cleaning and getting rid of things I found that nice box. It's a very old fashioned tin box that used to have wax and still does a little, so when I open it, it smells terrible and the wax is all orange and old. The box had these three pieces of furniture but not in that order I arranged them that way so it'd look like a room. Because those pieces really resemble my granfather's furniture!
