Snip Beauties

This is for the “New kids on the Block” challenge. Basic story concept, the main character is a new employ of one of the best beauty solons in the world. Our champion comes in hopeful and bright eyed only to find that in this place, you must fight to keep your job. Our champion also falls in love with a return costumer but the villains always seem to make our friend look bad. (That last sentence was just for you FaithlessFighter, for the romance story.)

The Villains:

At the bottom of the picture is the boss, Mr. Rick Keens, The Dictator. He started of as a talented hair stylist but soon became corrupted by greed. Now he does all he can to get money from his guest and his employs. But don’t let that make you think he has lost his skills, he can still out cut anyone in his employment and has several high paying exclusive customers. Also he is masterful on the front lines if they get over booked or other problems arise but if he is required, he takes the whole of the days tips. This is the one character that I can see becoming a good guy by the end.

At the middle right is Pola. She is beautiful and skilled but also vain and envious. She is not above doing less that perfect work if she thinks the girl she is working on is naturally more beautiful than she is. In fact she might make them look bad but she has a sharp tong and can make them think they do look good. And some times she even sabotage other employees’ pretty patrons if she thinks they look to good or the other hairstylist is too good.

At the middle left is Zane. He is one of the youngest in the shop with mostly pear raw talent. His skills are like his hair, all over the place. And though this does bring about great creations, sometimes his lack of experience betrays him and he ruins a hairdo. Now that is not villain like but he finds a way to blame it on other employs even gets them fired.

At the top left is Kaz, The Man. Ability second only to Rick, he often acts as if he ran the place. He often hazes new employs. I said haze but it is more like he sees how long it takes to scare them of or break their spirit and quit. He points out their mistakes and whittle downs their self-confidence and respect. After about six months, he is a lot better. He has that I am the coolest and the best attitude. This has led to him stealing several girls from other employs.

And last top right is Sam. You do not want to get in the way of this guy. If you mess him up or insult him, he will crush you. He has a short fuse and he may be fat but he also has a good about of strength. He is also the fasted hairstylist because he has great precision with every cut and the same goes for his attacks. More or less if he lands three punches you are out.
