Superstar 
This is just one step of my new art project for my art class. This time my teacher is letting me use a scratch board to do it. Before I did a lot of realisms, I'm bored of that, now I want to do a stylistic drawing, so I did this.
This...turned out to be a metaphor. 'cause she's trapped on...the page...O.o; I guess...And it's like she's being a closed in on. I tried to make it point to the fact that she's a superstar. This is like a metaphor for superstars having no freedom and having to go with mainstream sounding music and do things that the rest of their 'fans' accept, even if it's not them.
Mostly, this is for BoA, which is why the words in the background are all from Korean songs (that I have on my mp3 player~! :D) since she's a Korean superstar. She doesn't really seem like she gets to express herself much, and she just hooks on to whatever's popular. Like right now Lady Gaga is popular, so she is now HEAVILY influenced by Lady Gaga. Also Hangeng's contract thingy....is INCREDIBLY unreasonable. So I really think some superstars really are trapped in a box. I'm glad Hangeng did something, though....
I originally was going to do this like a doll in a case, but then I finally downloaded 4minute's I My Me Mine onto my mp3 player with some other Korean music or R&B music, including some Maki Goto (<333) so I was in a K-pop-ish mood...so I wanted to draw something inspired by that...
Omigosh, yo, aren't I very back in the times? It was a spur of the moment! XD
And since in I My Me Mine they kept saying 'click' I thought of that like a camera, so I decided to make it like a magizine-ish thing...And then flashing for cameras.
Which, by the way, I was very disappointed in the I My Me Mine music video since...well...I had a much better idea in my mind, and it just seems they just went on with whatever looked cool, and never really had anything behind it...>3> That seems to happen a lot with music videos...Ehhh, I guess that's how it goes...(Morning Musume videos don't make any sense, by the way...O.o;)
Sooo I'm gonna do this in black and white on a scratch board...It's gonna be hard...TT^TT
