After a couple color sketch pieces, I felt that I needed practice on values too. So here's a random B&W portrait sketch. I guess I'll be going back and forth with color and monotone for a while.

A friend of mine said she looks like a superheroine, so...yeah. ^^ Bleah on the hair...

NOTE: She was just something random that came out of my head. I was told that she looked like a superheroine, so I just dubbed her something stereotypical. I'm not familiar with but a few comic book characters, so if she looks like any of them or if there actually is one called Supergirl, I wouldn't know. ^^
