i've been watching Taboo on the National Geographic Channel which talks about a bunch of stuff that seems taboo to some cultures but is perfectly normal in others. One of the episodes i was watched was about Body Modification/Altering or something. lD But anyways i saw the part about women somewhere in Thailand that put bronze coils around their neck to 'lengthen' it. I actually thought they were very pretty and decided i was gonna make a character with neckrings, not entirely sure if it's female or male yet, but knowing me it's probably going to be male, which will be somewhat odd considering it's only(?) the females who do it. lD;
But yeah.
Initially this was supposed to be done completely in Open Canvas, and the sketch was, but when i was doing the lineart i realized that it's ridiculously hard to do lineart in OC and opted to finish it in SAI. >>'
It was also kinda sorta referenced/inspired by a picture of someone's who i'm currently stalking watching on FA. I would link you but...i'd rather not raep your eyes/childhood(thanks to everything on FA and some of the things in her gallery), so no. lD
Anyways!
His/her neck is supposed to be long, but knowing my horrid proportions it probably doesn't look like it(great i can't even do wrong proportions on purpose. *sob*).
And the reason that's it anthro is because i want to be more active on FA and this was originally intended for it anyways. XD;
Also played around with the Marker tool in SAI. :>
