I wanted to represent love or lovestricken-ness through this picture mainly with symbolism.
The bandages represent how love is painful, blinding, and binding (lol rhyming)
The skirt represents the lightness of the emotion as well. The splattered blood shows that love can be messy as well. She has no heart because it now belongs to her lover (awwww cute)

Funny story about this picture~~~

When I started drawing this, I was emotionally detached because I am a happy lil baby. But then I went on Facebook and saw the person I liked with a girlfriend... ON TOP OF THAT HE WAS EVEN BETTER LOOKING.....
So when I went back to drawing the picture I was all lovestruck too D:
