Second submission for the Picking Favorites challenge!! This one I actually drew for the challenge ^_^ This is Layla Hamilton from Kaleido Star (she's not my favorite out of all the characters I've ever seen, but I like her in this anime even though I hated her in the beginning). She's doing her famous "Romeo and Juliet" routine where she's Juliet.

Edit: The routine is actually called The Golden Pheonix, but portrays the story of Romeo and Juliet. Also, looking back at the picture, mine looks nothing like it =_='

Anyway, since there were no reference pictures for this on Google Images I had to go straight to the video and look there. So if you want to see the original picture go to the youtube address below:

This was colored on Gimp, by the way and I finally realized that you can download extra brushes for the program (no, I'm not slow, why do you ask??). So that's where the sparkles came from...yup!
