So what I had in mind here was the design for a playbill or program you'd get if you were going to see this in a theater. This is, as the title states, Puccini's 'Turandot', an opera. The storyline is that Turandot, a beautiful Chinese princess, asks any man seeking her hand in marriage three impossible riddles. They always fail to answer them so she orders them to be executed. The hero of the opera, Liu, is just a soldier come back from service and he sees Turandot and falls for her. He gets the three riddles right and they end up happily ever after, after another act of stuff or it'd be a darn short opera. Anyway, there you go.
