did you know that i have NEVER submitted a sailor moon fanart?! how bad am i? answer: very bad.
sailor moon was the first anime i fell in love with and is responsible for getting me additced to the magical girl genre. and whilst i have doodled many a sailor moon doodle, i have NEVER posted them--tsk tsk tsk.
anywho, i present to you, my first official posting of a sailor moon fanart. the entire thing took me 2 days from starting sketch to finished inking/coloring (i'll post my colored version next)

that being said, i love how sailor moon/serena/usagi came out, and am relatively pleased with how sailor mercury and sailor mars came out. i think they look much better in the lineart than in the colored version, but you can judge that for yourselves.

originally, i was going to have venus, luna and jupiter in the pic as well, but that will have to wait for another sketch.
