wow, i just checked out the entries for this contest, and i am so totally not confident anymore, lol. there are some AWESOME pics that have been submitted, i only hope that my has SOME sort of consideration,
i love this color combo--it reminds me of strawberry or cherry lemonade..mmmmm...lemonade :)
anywho, i tried to incorporate some traditional lolita themes, i.e. hearts, lace, bows, teddy bears, rabbit ears, ribbons, etc.
i also think that this might be the otaku rabbit hat personified, lol. i only say that cause not only are there the rabbit ears, but only after i finished coloring it, i noticed i placed a star underneath one of the eyes.

as for the poofy-ness of the dress i only have to say this.....wouldn't it be fun to wear a dress so poofy, you could just fall into it?
