I got the idea to draw this from a picture my brother took of himself and his girlfriend; he's back from the army and already so incredibly in love with her. The idea of the wings came from the shirt he was wearing, it was really cool, and the pose made it look like she would be safe no matter what. And my brother being an Army soldier and all, she will be safe XD
