Canada made his anime debut in the most recent episode of the Hetalia anime (I wrote about it here), so I decided to draw him in commemoration. I know Canada should be manly and GAR and awesome, but for some reason I always end up making him look moe-moe. So I have a habit of writing "sorry, Canadians" every time I draw him. (Incidentally, I forgot to draw his glasses, but he actually looks pretty good without them...)
In Hetalia, there's a running gag that Canada's always getting mistaken for America, so his catchphrase is 「カナダだよ」 ("I'm Canada"). Even viewers sometimes confuse him with America...poor Canada. I still like you! Don't give up, Canada!
