I'd been looking through some image repositories recently and noticed that pretty much every piece of genderflip art is of male characters as girls (90% is of Kyonko). This didn't seem entirely fair, so I thought I would draw some moe-moe guys, starting with the main cast of Lucky☆Star.
Lucky☆Star is already drawn in a really punipuni art style, so parts of this picture were very intuitive for me. The eyes were very difficult, though. They don't look quite like Yoshimizu's, so sorry. The shading is pretty terrible, but that's probably because I'm not used to the Lucky☆Star shading style at all. The uniforms were entirely designed by me- I really didn't like that the female uniforms in Lucky☆Star were so bright, colourful, and unique-looking while the male uniforms were as generic as you can possibly imagine, so I drew some equally improbably-coloured old-fashioned-coat-style uniforms here.
They said in the anime itself that Kagami wouldn't be recognisable without twintail hair, so what was I to do? Secret: I just pretended I was drawing England and suddenly it was easy. Because they're both tsundere, I guess? (By the way, Tsukasa's hairstyle is basically Hong Kong's without the ahoge. Sorry.)
