This is my original character design for a contest on Deviantart.com to make a sailor sun
So this is what I came up with ^_^
I wanted to make her different even though the colors were hard to single out cause everything was either yellow, orange, red or in that category. But for the weapon I wanted to make that completely different, so I chose a sword and shield ^^

Technique:
Solar blaze - with a swing of her blade a wave of fire shots out towards the oppenent, has a high hitting ratio.
Sun Shield - holding up her shield it creates a ball of fire that shields any upcoming attacks burning it in their tracks.
