Phew I always leave contest entries till the last moments ~ Laughs ~ This is for the Pokemon contest simply for the reason that I was a monster pokemon fan in 1999 and Gastly/Ghastly was my favourite pokemon so when I saw this contest I thought of Gastly and from there ended up imagining a haunted mansion with him in it. Initially I had imagined them inside the mansions in the Mario games where you see the little ghosts, but I couldn't find a screenshot that had that in it and instead found this so I decided to draw that mansion and add Gastly around it. I then found several images of Gastly and ended up using this and this. It was through those searches I discovered Gastly is spelt two ways so picked this is amy spelling (I normally use the other with the 'h' in but this seems right somehow!

So yea. I did the lineart for this last night and then spent a fair amount of today doing the rest of it, finishing pretty much just now (2240 my time ~ yawns ~). I do love how it has come out though ~ Dances around ~ The picture of the mansion is pretty small so I blew that up and like how it ended up. Thankfully it is oddly warped so I didn't have to keep most of the lines straight, going over the straight lines this had was murder ~ Cringes ~ I regret so much putting the damn tombstone things in. I thought they were mushrooms in the tiny picture but that didn't make sense so I decided to go for tombstones and err kept forgetting about them so they turned out crap. The mansion on the other hand I loved drawing so that has come out well though I need to learn how to make things glow ~ Raises eyebrow ~ The house as eyes that glow, they are the ones with the white part around them lol! The err Gastly's are probably really close to the camera since they are so big compared to the house ~ Grins ~ Ignore that oversight ~ Winks ~

Yea I like this so in short: This took me about 5-6 hours, is done in various shades of pencil and is for a contest that ends tomorrow ~ Spins ~
