Before you even blink: NO, I DID NOT DRAW ALL OF THIS! Please, read the description!

My first attempt at a matte painting! Mattes are paintings on top of photographs, usually stock pictures of landscapes/cities/nature. Unfortunately, I picked a tiny 600x450 picture of New York, but I rolled with it, and it turned out better than I had expected. I didn't actually paint that much on this compared to most mattes, but I think it's a good starting point, at least?

Matte painting is awesome. It's a good way to learn colors, lighting, proportion, and perspective! All you peeps go and give it a try sometime soon! It's really easy and super fun. :)
