Geez...I forgot to post this, and it's been around since Halloween! XP

But anyway, here you go~!

Gumdrop happens to be a fanmew whose story will probably never actually get off the ground. I just doodled her up a while ago as a Halloween illustration and I figured I'd better make her a profile to make her at least a little believeable...

So, here it is. She's a member of Mew Peep's group, and is therefore an obvious parody.

Mew Gumdrop’s full name is Gumuderopu Daidaiiroshima (translated as Gumdrop Purple-Mountain in English]. She comes from a family of cryptozoologists. Her parents are forever going away on long trips to hunt down such fantastic creatures as werewolves, sea monsters, and man-eating yetis, often leaving her home alone with nothing but her sketchbook and sewing supplies for company. As a result of this, Gumuderopu has a habit of making detailed costumes for herself and often wearing them at inappropriate occasions.

She was temporarily injected on October 31st by Ryou Shirogane as a marketing ploy for the café. She has the DNA of a rubber bat [which is an endangered animal because it’s such a tacky Halloween decoration that there is almost nobody who actually uses them anymore]. For the most part, she thinks that she’s been selected to be in an elaborate cosplay affair and doesn’t understand the whole concept of being a super heroine. However, she does understand the supposed threat of Chimera Anima, but believes them to be an elaborate hoax, which she must discover and eliminate if the world is to accept the work of a true scientist such as a budding monster hunter like her. It’s safe to say there isn’t much hope for her as a Mew Mew. However, she did make a very good Halloween mascot for the café and drove up sales, just as Peep did when Easter rolled around.

As Mew Gumdrop, her weapons are the Gumdrop Clackers [modeled after click-clack toys, like the cheap ones they give out at Halloween sometimes]. Her attack is Ribbon/Reborn Gumdrop Clack [how original…], which is used mainly as an offensive attack. Mew Gumdrop spins the two spheres of her weapon together on their string until they crash into each other. These motions send sonic shockwaves through the air, and can be used to assail an opponent. The tremors will destroy Chimera Anima and either knock out or seriously annoy passerby.

When working as a waitress, Gumuderopu enjoys gorging herself on candy and making cute poses to draw in customers. What the naïve young Mew Mew doesn’t know is what the male patrons [including Ryou] are thinking…XD
