I'm no good at drawing kids. . .so I'm sorry if little Hani (who's supposed to be about 7 or 8 in this picture) looks like she's 13.

The bird was referenced from Elfen Lied. . .somewhere. I think it was chapter 72 or 71. . . .one of the two. I'm going to say 72 because it's a cooler number.
