I guess you could say the idea for this drawing... actually came from a D. Gray-Man AMV to a High School Musical song. Through half the song, it depicted the Noah clan, but then at one part Allen took most of the screen time. One of the lines in that part of the song was "I play the cello." *shrug* kept me from getting an artist's block most of the week, I guess.

Dedicated to silvervampiress, who was with me at the time when I saw the AMV (she's the one who said the song was from HSM in the first place. Haven't seen any of the movies, so I wouldn't have known otherwise) ... and is probably the only person who would get why I drew Allen playing the cello without the explanation.
