did you know that the victorian person, when mourning the death of someone, would mourn for two years? every thing would be black the first few months, cloth lined with black ribbon, bibles given black covers, clothing was all black. then after awhile, colors would gradualy turn from black to greys and burgandys, youknow, dark colors. it would get lighter and lighter, but the bad thing was, once you were done mourning, alot of your old clothes would be out of style, so youd have to do abit of shopping. the more you know!!!
