This was another pic made for a friend's card!!! However, since this friend wasn't an anime freak, I had to find an anime pic with a theme related around something else they liked. I was looking through some pics when a saw this death note one with L eating a cake. I then remembered how my friend liked eddie izzard, the comedian and immediately thought of his 'cake or death?' sketch so... that was it!!! I started to draw chibi L eating a cake... as usual!!! I may not be a big death note fan, but I do at least know he eats... ALOT!!!
The hardest part of this pic was the eyes. The pic I was basing my pic on was like I've draw it, which shows that you need to black out all the eyes except for tiny slits! I looked everywhere to find some different eyes, but they were either too hard for me to draw or wouldn't work with the pic. In the end, I decided I had no choice but to use the original eyes. I didn't want to do it at first because I didn't want to wreak my masterpiece, but then my mum, being a better drawer than me, said she would help... that decision almost wreaked everything ! Lucky, we managed to save it and I think I can safely say it came out alright
I think out of all my drawings, this one was the hardest but the most rewarding. I realise now that my weak points are probably drawing eyes, hands and feet, oh and everything if its not chibi!!!
Oh well, this is my talent and I'll just have to stick with it
