This is Haldir, Captain of Lorien. He is one of the few elves of Lorien that know of the outside world. He can speak the common tongue, as well as Elven. He, like most of his kind, dislike Dwarves, but Gimli, son of Gloin suprised him greatly, as did Gimli's friendship with Legolas Greenleaf, an Elf from the north.

Haldir is one of my favorite characters, and I liked him even more in the movie version. I absolutely love the armor the Lothlorien Elves wore to Helm's Deep in the movie, even if they didn't actually go there in the book. I inked it with Sakura Micron Pens, and colored it with Prismacolor Pencils.
